Mr. Miller founded National Land Tenure Company, LLC in 1999 and has grown the title agency into a premier title agency in the U.S. and in the global marketplace. Closing billions of dollars in transactions a year, Mr. Miller preaches to his employees that no deal is too small and every transaction should be given the same level of white glove service. James P. Haggerty

James P. Haggerty is a Managing Director and Counsel of National Land Tenure Company, LLC.
Mr. Haggerty interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York during law school. He also worked at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Haggerty worked at Cullen & Dykman in both the Real Estate and Litigation groups. Mr. Haggerty played Division I Soccer at Siena College.

Edward F. Dull

Edward F. Dull is Vice President and Senior Counsel at National Land Tenure Company, LLC. He has 37 years in the real estate industry with more than 28 years as counsel for both title agents and major title underwriters. He was formerly New York State Agency Counsel for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company and Office Counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company. He has underwritten title on numerous commercial and residential titles, both fee and leasehold, including multi-site purchases and financings, debt restructuring, construction loans, IDA transactions and residential and commercial developments. Mr. Dull is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting.

Sean D. Miller

Sean D. Miller is a Managing Partner at National Land Tenure Company, LLC. Mr. Miller has been with National Land Tenure since it first opened its doors in 1999. After learning all aspects of the title insurance business, Mr. Miller continued his passion for real estate and the title insurance business by attending Columbia University. Mr. Miller graduated in 2003 from Columbia University with a Masters in Real Estate Development. Mr. Miller was a four-year letterman on the University of Virginia Lacrosse team where he played in two Final Fours.

John M. Byrne

John M. Byrne is a Managing Director in the sales department of National Land Tenure Company, LLC.   Mr. Byrne joined NLT in October 2003 after spending 18 years on Wall Street as a government bond broker and equity sales trader. Mr. Byrne was a four-year letterman on the St. John’s University Golf Team.

Brian J. Fitzgerald

Brian J. Fitzgerald is a Managing Director and Counsel at National Land Tenure Company, LLC. Working as an associate at Kaye Scholer LLP and Greenberg Traurig LLP, he gained a broad experience in all areas of commercial real estate and financing. Mr. Fitzgerald has closed transactions involving mortgage and mezzanine debt, construction financing and acquisitions and dispositions of major portfolios across the country. His clients include major financial institutions, national retail operators and sophisticated developers.

Erik H. Rosanes

Erik H. Rosanes is a Vice President and Counsel at National Land Tenure Company, LLC. He has more than 17 years of experience in real estate practice, with more than 8 of those years engaged in litigating title insurance claims. Prior to that, as an associate in the real estate practice group at the law firm of Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., Mr. Rosanes represented national and regional financial institutions, real estate developers, national retail chains, owners and lessees in the acquisition, sale, financing, leasing and subleasing of residential, retail, office, industrial and mixed-use space. Mr. Rosanes began his career representing institutional lenders and private investors in the acquisition, sale, financing and refinancing of residential and investment properties.

Mr. Rosanes is the co-author of, “Hey, That’s My Property! Maybe, and Maybe Not. Proving Adverse Possession Has Become Easier in New York,” New York Law Journal, Trends in Real Estate and Title Insurance, Volume 236-No. 45, and was a featured speaker at the National Business Institute’s seminar “Troubleshooting Title and Title Insurance Problems.”

A life-long racing sailor, Mr. Rosanes was co-captain of the sailing team at Loyola College. He continues to be an avid yachtsman and outdoorsman, and has served pro bono as General Counsel to the Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society, Inc., the first non-profit organization in the country to successfully take title to an offshore lighthouse.
